FTC Team 22774 URSA Major is a school based team from Reno, Nevada. Our team is 100% student lead.
Each year our team researches, builds, codes, and designs a robot to play the yearly game released by
FIRST as well as inspire our community through outreach.
We currently have 14 students enrolled and
2 adult mentor.
Our mission is to cultivate a deep understanding of STEM concepts while fostering teamwork, leadership, and innovation. We strive to create an environment where learning and growth are intertwined with real-world applications in robotics and engineering.
We aim to build a community of students that share a passion for robotics, where each member develops skills in engineering, problem-solving, programming, and leadership, preparing them for success in their future careers and endeavors.
Over the years, URSA Major 22774 has competed in numerous First Tech Challenge (FTC) events, earning respect in the robotics community for our technical expertise, innovative designs, and team spirit. We have consistently ranked among the top teams, showcasing our dedication and commitment to excellence.
At the heart of our team is our robot, which is designed and built by our members and our members only. Every year, we challenge ourselves to push the limits of what is possible, incorporating advanced mechanisms and programming to solve complex tasks on the competition field.
